Diagnostic Testing
We offer multiple types of diagnostic testing.
Special diagnostic tests such as digital retinal photography, ocular coherence tomography (OCT), and visual fields can be used to detect and manage many eye diseases. In a typical practice, diagnostic testing can range from $50-$100 for each diagnostic test. The fees add up quickly!
At Lumino Vision, digital retinal photography is included at no additional charge with all our eye exam fees. Ocular coherence tomography, often called an OCT scan, is like an X-ray for the eye. It is high resolution scanning of the optic nerve and retinal layers. These retinal layers are not entirely seen with photography alone. If an OCT or visual field testing is needed, fees are kept minimal so that they remain affordable for you.
